Pen in Hand is the official newsletter of Maryland Writers’ Association. It is published quarterly and distributed online as a free downloadable PDF.
Pen in Hand articles are written by MWA members about subjects of interest to writers. Regular features include:
- topical articles on the craft, business, and art of writing
- interviews with writers, editors, agents, publishers, and other interesting people
- member and officer profiles
- showcased work by MWA members such as poems, short-short stories, and memoir
- messages from the MWA President, Chapter updates and meeting schedules, contest and conference details, and contact information
Our ideal is to match Pen in Hand to the needs and interests of MWA members. With your help, each issue approaches that ideal a little more closely!
